Carolyn studied Law at Nottingham University. She is a qualified English law solicitor and member of the Law Society. As an experienced corporate solicitor she has spent 18 years in both private practice and in house roles. She spent 10 years in London working in Mergers & Acquisitions with city law firms Hammonds (Squire Patton Boggs) and Dundas & Wilson (CMS Cameron Mckenna) and following a move to Scotland Carolyn has worked in house within financial services, firstly with Lloyds Banking Group and latterly with Aberdeen Asset Management. Carolyn has extensive experience in the UK and overseas investment funds sector and in merging businesses.
