The 2021 Assessment Regulations apply for all undergraduate and taught postgraduate students with the exception of a small number of students who will follow some of the provisions in the 2017 Assessment Regulations. Details are given in the preface.

The Assessment Regulations must be read in conjunction with our transitional arrangements, which were approved by the University Senate in September 2021 to take account of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The transitional arrangements will be subject to further review by the Senate on 15 December 2021.
