Mairi Redman is a Research Unit and Communications Officer for the NIHR Research Unit for Health in Situations of Fragility (RUHF) at IGHD. Particular focuses of interest are women's health, mental health and human rights.

 

NIHR Global Health Research Unit on Health in Situations of Fragility at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh

RUHF focuses on the provision of mental health and psychological support (MHPSS) and the treatment and prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), within Lebanon, Sierra Leone and other fragile settings.

The overarching goal of the project is helping to secure high quality and accessible service delivery in contexts of fragility, and to design services and community engagement that prove durable and effective under these circumstances.
